Orion Thompson (born May 22, 1995) is a vigilante based in Sanctuary City, as well as the Chief Operating Officer of Archeon.

Summary

Orion is one of the children of Ken Thompson and Monica Beaufort. Although Ken treated both of his children poorly, he was especially harsh on Orion due to him being a boy. Due to this, as well as the fact that Orion spent the majority of his childhood as a part of The Collective, Orion has grown up to be relatively anti-social, as well as temperamental.

After escaping with his sister Stephanie, Orion decided to move back to his mother's childhood home, Sanctuary City. There, he met Aiden Grayson , where the two quickly became vigilante partners. Orion would work together with Aiden on several occasions, as well as on his own. Such as when a man named Michael Miller used his powers of Chaos Inducement to wreck a night club, Omnius was the one to deal with it.

At a later point, while walking around town, and talking to a friend on his phone, Orion was ambushed and attacked by an old friend of his father's Rick Gordon. Rick used his Spatial Manipulation, as well as a Psionic inhibiting device to fight Orion. Despite having the advantage, Orion eventually tricked and overpowered Rick.

Not long after he found and chased a suspect around the world, in order to try and find their boss.

Powers & Abilities

• Psionics
  • Thanks to his nature as both a Meta-Human and a Para-Human Orion has incredible Psionic potential on such a high level that perhaps only someone like a Sorcerer Supreme could truly match it.
• Orion currently is nowhere near fulfilling his full potential, still being considered a powerful Psychic, but lacking compared to some others. Despite this however, his presence seems to have a profound affect on other Psychics, should he wish it.
• Orion's powers are exponential and passively grow in intensity over time, but can increase at an even more rapid rate if something significant happens to his mind set.
• Some of Orion's current abilities include:
  • Superhuman Physical Characteristics
    • Orion can enhance his strength to allow mind boggling feats of strength, being capable of lifting hundreds of tons, or moving faster than the speed of sound.
  • Psychokinesis
    • Orion can use his Psychokinesis to lift hundreds of tons of weight, and manipulate them with enough precision that he can pull objects apart on a molecular level, and reconstruct them should he wish.
  • Telepathy
    • Orion can read and manipulate the minds of millions at once should he wish, and has naturally strong protection against other psychics, allowing him to resist even those who should be able to overpower his mind.
  • Elemental Manipulation
    • Orion can generate and manipulate the elements. Notably this is not a product of his Psychokinesis, and is in fact it's own ability.
  • Illusion Generation/Manipulation
  • Psychic Energy Manipulation
    • Orion is skilled at wielding Psychic Energy as a tool in itself, using it to create constructs or even firing it as laser-like beam attacks.
• Martial Arts
  • Orion has the culminative skill and experience of hundreds of Martial Artists, and is capable of both armed and unarmed combat, all thanks to his Telepathy.
• Firearms
  • Like with Martial Arts, Orion is capable of using practically any firearm.
