Amelia Cox (Born March 4th, 1896), is the (self-styled) Princess of the Vampires of Toronto, and the so-called "Last of the Carmillas".
Summary
Amelia is the owner of a casino in Toronto. She tends not to talk about herself and spends large sections of her time asleep.
In August 2017, Amelia caught wind of a fledgling vampire, who she brought to her casino through the use of various animals. For unknown reasons, she brought the newcomer under her fold, acting as a layer of protection[1].
Powers & Abilities
- Supernatural Physical Characteristics:
- Like all Vampires, Amelia's body has been enhanced to a seemingly supernatural degree. She can lift several tons of weight, run faster than the eye can see and can perform acrobatic feats.
- Hypnosis:
- Unique to the Carmilla Clan (and the main reason for the clan's rarity) is the ability to hypnotise others (including animals) and influence them.
Notes
- Amelia and Madeleine are entirely unrelated, despite the same last names. This can be seen through some key details:
- Amelia's family is from America, while Madeleine's family is from the UK.
- Amusingly, as she is from Nevada, Amelia is more likely to be related to Earth-25's version of Tessa Parker.
- Amelia's birth name is "Amelia Cox", Madeleine's name is her middle name and mother's maiden name.
- Amelia's family is from America, while Madeleine's family is from the UK.
- Appropriately for a Carmilla vampire, Amelia is a lesbian.
- Amelia claims to be much older than she is, as 121 is apparently an embarassing age for an elder vampire to be.
- Despite this "young" age, Amelia spends most of her time asleep, suggesting that she is quite powerful for her age.
- As a casino owner, Amelia is very rich.
