Asteria Thompson (Date of birth unknown) is the third and final child of Ken Thompson and Monica Beaufort. She was created by Ken on his own using stored DNA samples in an attempt to make a "better child" than his other two children.
Summary
Asteria Thompson is the third and final child of Ken Thompson and Monica Beaufort. She was created years after Monica's death, unbeknownst to Orion and Stephanie. He decided to make his final child female as well, perhaps out of some strange sense of humor Ken has. Or perhaps in order to prove that a woman can only excel if a man allows her to. Either way, Asteria is the result.
Despite her relatively recent birth, Asteria is physically, mentally and emotionally in her early to mid 20s. Thanks to the wonders of technology, Ken was able to keep her mind connected to a simulated world where extreme time dilation allowed her to experience over two decades of life in what was actually only a handful of years. She is fiercely loyal to her father, and quite literally lacks the capacity to feel empathy.
Powers & Abilities
- Psionics
- Asteria is a powerful Psychic and is easily amongst the most powerful on Earth. However she pales in comparison to her brother's full potential.
- Space Manipulation
- Asteria's core ability, coming as a surprise to both herself initially and Ken. Asteria seems to have extremely precise control over space, to a greater degree than other known Space Manipulators. This also allows her a degree of Time Manipulation.
- Combat Mastery
- Like her siblings Asteria is a master of both armed and unarmed combat, thanks to her telepathy granting her the combined knowledge and skill of several masters.
