Cygnus is an American Meta-Human and member of Task Force A.
Summary
An man with an unknown past, Cygnus was raised and trained by an Project: M|unknown organisation]] to be a lethal fighter. Having since escaped, Cygnus has become a member of Task Force A, having been recruited because his abilities and powers fit effectively within the team's style of operation.
Powers & Abilities
- Psionics: Although not in the leagues of some others, Cygnus is still considered a powerful Psychic, and possesses a high amount of Psionic potential, he is able to use his Psionic abilities to achieve a variety of things, including:
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics: Cygnus can enhance his strength to allow impressive feats of strength, being capable of lifting tens of tons, or moving close to the speed of sound.
- Psychokinesis: Cygnus can use his Psychokinesis to lift hundreds of tons of weight, and manipulate them with enough precision that he can pull objects apart on a molecular level.
- Telepathy: Cygnus can read and manipulate the minds of others should he wish, and has naturally strong protection against other psychics, allowing him to resist even those who should be able to overpower his mind.
- Illusion Generation/Manipulation
- Psychic Energy Manipulation: Cygnus is skilled at wielding Psychic Energy as a tool in itself, using it to create constructs or even firing it as laser-like beam attacks.
- Martial Arts: Cygnus has been trained in Martial Arts by unknown individuals, and has since supplmented his abilities through the choice use of telepathy
- Firearms: Like with Martial Arts, Cygnus is capable of using a wide variety of firearms.
