Task Force A, is a band of extremist Meta-Humans founded by Martha Moore for the purpose of foiling Anomaly's ultimate plans for Earth-0, as well as protecting Meta-Humans from groups that would seek to harm them, through any means necessary.

Summary

Some time after recovering from the fight in the Tomorrow Arena in Philadelphia, Martha Moore encountered Anomaly, narrowly avoiding being forced into subservience by him, Martha came out of the encounter with the goal of preventing him from achieving his grand plan.

• Task Force A fills a similar narrative role to X-Force, both are teams dedicated to the defeat of a singular, immensely powerful villain, while also being on the run.
• Task Force A's name is very similar to the official government name for the Suicide Squad from DC's line of comics.
