Kei Yuuki (結城慧) (born December 16, 1999), also known as Rescue or S.E.A.R.C.H., is a Japanese-American human and current leader of The Sentinels.

Summary
Kei was born and raised in Chicago, and grew up in the same area as Kwaku Ameyaw, with the two being childhood friends. To differentiate between the two, Kei was given the nickname "Little K", and Kwaku the nickname "K.W.". Also in this area was Sal's Workshop, a place Kei regularly visited due to her interest in engineering and mechanics.[1]
Kei is a scholarship student at Transformations Academy, a private school owned by the Long Corporation, and is a peer of Raiko Sameda. Her parents took out a loan to afford the costs not covered by her scholarship, placing the family under a level of financial strain. While at Transformations, Kei had repeated incidents of reporting that the Meta-Human dampeners installed within the school were disrupting her due to the sounds produced by them.
During Kei's third year of high school, her father developed brain cancer, a fatal condition for him without the use of a experimental treatment provided by the Long Corporation, which was unavailable through the family's medical insurance. After arguing with her mother over her potentially dropping out so the family could redirect their finances to the treatment, Kei attempted several methods of quickly obtaining the capital required to afford the treatment, eventually taking on work for the gangster Drucker.
As part of this work, Kei broke into the home of Alexinus Carpenter, where she discovered the Sentinels Headquarters underneath the mansion. After being discovered herself by Alex, Kei escaped in S.E.A.R.C.H., and fought against a mysterious robot, destorying it before it could steal S.E.A.R.C.H. or escape.
Several days later, Kei was approached by Alex again, who sought her out to reform the Sentinel Initiative.[2]
Agreeing to the plan, Kei set to work reforming the team, starting with her childhood friend Kwaku Ameyaw, who had adopted the moniker Faraday, before the two set out to help resolve the incident between Sage & Amp and Cardinal, Moon, Star, & Kuiper. Coming in at the end of the incident, S.E.A.R.C.H. and Faraday were able to successfully help the others escape from Sage & Amp, after which Kei helped Kuiper remove his armor and recruited Kuiper, Moon, and Star to the Sentinels.[1]
