Earth-1764, informally known as "Steampunk Earth", was one of the many universes within the multiverse. A world of great technological progress at the cost of increasing inequality, Earth-1764 was destroyed under mysterious circumstances.
History
After the invention of the Spinning Jenny in 1764, technology on Earth-1764 began to advance at a staggering pace, with the newly discovered power of steam being used to make great strides. This advancement came at a cost, however, a human cost, as the newfound prosperity from this revolution led to great inequality between the upper and lower classes, leading to a class strife that was considered sure to explode into all-out war.
For unknown reasons, The Clockwork Princess of Kirmoor, one of the lower class's greatest advocates among the nobility, became colder and colder just prior to the destruction of Earth-1764, moving from a stance of reform to all-out class warfare. It was by this woman's hand that the Aetheric Engine, the device that destroyed Earth-1764, was activated.
