- Hermes Trismegistus is a legendary figure from the Hellenistic Period that originated as a syncretism of Hermes and Thoth, he is associated with Hermeticism movement in particular.
- Trismegistus is an ancient Greek epithet meaning "Thrice-Greatest" or "Thrice-Great", derived from on of Thoth's epithets
- Hermione is a name of Greek origin that is derived from Hermes
- Themis is a name of an ancient Greek goddess that translates to "divine law"
- Alcestis is a princess from ancient Greek mythology, present within the Bibliotheca as well as acting as the eponymous heroine of the tragedy Alcestis
