Para-Human
A Para-Human, or an Enhanced Individual, is a human that has acquired abilities that are considered outside of the human norm through a source other than the Meta-Gene. Unlike Meta-Humans, Para-Humans are not a distinct genetic or cultural group of humans, and are instead a general umbrella group that consists of many smaller groups and individuals.
Para-Humans are typically individuals who source their powers entirely from sources other than the Meta-Gene, but this does not mean that a Meta-Human cannot also be a Para-Human, as it is possible for an individual to possess both a Meta-Gene and other powers, such as in the case of Stephanie Thompson.
