Yvonne de Montauban (born March 15, 1992), is a human from Earth-0, she is the sole living scion of the de Montauban and Genesis families, and the current Blood Knight.
Appearance & Personality
Publicly, Yvonne attempts to maintain an air of calm cordiality, seeking to avoid conflict wherever she can. Underneath the surface, however, Yvonne is barely able to keep herself together, and is prone to bursts of anger and rage when pressed, as demonstrated when she found herself pushed into the corner from her near death experience with the Moon-beast.
Yvonne is a young woman with long red hair, which she often ties up in a pair of twin tails. When not enhanced by Knight's Fall, she wears a pair of glasses to help her with her myopia.
When enhanced by Knight's Fall, Yvonne wears her hair down, and wears the Sanguine Armour of the Blood Knight, a set of white, ornate plate armour. A single contained flame burns just above her chest, indicating the pact between her and Knight's Fall.
Summary
Yvonne's mother, Anya, died in childhood, leaving only her father, Dane de Montauban to raise her in his family home in Derbyshire by himself. Knowing of their family's duty, Dane trained Yvonne in the skills and behaviours of a knight from a young age[1].
Yvonne went to Oxford University, a fact she shared with both of her parents. She has had at least one boyfriend, and at least one girlfriend, and was a member of a student band. She graduated Oxford with a PhD in Art History in 2017, and is a proficient artist, having had some of her art displayed in a public gallery - alongside her mother's artworks[1].
After obtaining her PhD, Yvonne struggled to find relevant work, and went for several months without being able to apply her skills. In October 2017, Yvonne received a job offer from Morfydd Carew, and travelled to her hometown of Stanton-in-Peak in Derbyshire, where she visited her father's grave as a means of calming her mind. Once resolved, Yvonne travelled to Carew Mansion, where she soon received a job offer, but found herself trapped in the mansion due to a blockage on the road.
Staying at the mansion overnight, Yvonne was unable to sleep in the unfamiliar setting, a fact which saved her life as a mysterious creature entered her room to kill her. Hiding from the creature, Yvonne attempted to leave the mansion, discovering the true nature of The Doll in the process, and found herself at the mercy of the creature, only being saved by the intervention of a mysterious white-haired man and a floating eye, who informed Yvonne of her family's duty, gave a warning of events to come, and of Morfydd's betrayal.
Angered by both the betrayal and the apparent lack of control over her situation, Yvonne snapped, and took Knight's Fall for herself, becoming the newest iteration of the Blood Knight. Seeking revenge, Yvonne used her newfound power to kill the creature pursuing her, and attempted to kill Morfydd, only to find herself expelled from the mansion, after which Yvonne swore to kill the witch upon their next encounter[1].
