Ceridwen Anna Prydwen (Born January 29 2000) is a mage and member of the Prydwen Family, who reside in Castle Prydwen, she is the latest in a long line of guardians of the Rift of Merddyn.

Summary

When she was a child, Ceridwen killed her mother as part of a ritual[1].

In 2017, Ceridwen called a Conclave of Mages to Castle Prydwen, the first event of such a scale for the mage community in 17 years, inviting mages from all over.

Noticing an uninvited guest, Ceridwen questioned the newcomer on her origins, the conversation eventually escalating into a duel between the two. Despite her vast magical ability, Ceridwen was unable to pierce Stephanie's defences - even with usage of Caledfwlch[2].

Some time later, Ceridwen woke up from a nightmare of her past, and went about checking on the various parts of Castle Prydwen. After checking up on the wards around the Castle, Ceridwen was offered an apprenticeship from Stephanie, which she accepted, heading to the Axiom. While at the Axiom, the pair updated some of Ceridwen's clothes, and visited Sanctuary City, where they were accosted by some thugs.[1]

When Stella visited the Axiom to trial becoming Stephanie's other apprentice, Ceridwen watched the fight, and insulted Stella after, causing Mosaic to take offence and agree to Stephanie's plan to test Ceridwen through a fight. Despite Mosaic being the more powerful of the two, the fight was ruled to be a win for Ceridwen, who left soon after due to threats of harm and an attempted intimidation from another Aiden [3].

Some time after being taken on as Stephanie's apprentice, Ceridwen was contacted by Henderson Elks, a fellow magician, to help him deal with situation near his home in Ohio. Discovering that the cause of the situation was a woman possessed by a Ghost, Ceridwen attempted to separate the two, but was unable to as she lacked the psionic ability.

Seeking to resolve this issue, Ceridwen took the woman to Stephanie, who further forwarded Ceridwen onto her brother, and together the pair were able to remove the ghost from the woman. As a parting gift, Ceridwen gave the woman a significant amount of money that she obtained through unknown means[4].

Aiden later wished to apologise to Ceridwen for his threats, and asked Stephanie if she could facilitate it for him. Ceridwen agreed to hear Aiden's apology, sending her raven to listen to it[5].
