A Speedster is a user of the energies from Lisa's IsoMatrix.

Description

With access to a vast well of energy from the edges of the Multiverse, Speedsters are capable of using these energies to achieve a variety of effects, although most the common is the use of the energy to move at incredible speeds, with seemingly no limit on velocity or acceleration.

Speedsters are incredibly rare in the Multiverse, with many universes simply having none of these individuals at all, others, however, contain multiple.

Energy

Wholly "supernatural" by the traditional view of the word, the energies used by Speedsters are in fact integral to the Multiverse, their power assisting in stabilising and binding it. While they act in a more "scientific" way than Magic, this energy nonetheless defies our understanding of the Laws of Physics, allowing for the seemingly impossible feats that the users perform.

A simple spark of this energy allows a potential user to performs things beyond their normal limits, and allows for the creation of technology with destructive potential far beyond what any weapon on Earth, making it a dangerous tool if in the wrong hands.

These energies also do not interact well with magic, causing an Annihilation Event if the two come into contact.

Applications

Some typical powers that Speedsters have include:

Limitations

  • The vast majority of individuals are incapable of properly processing the energy, meaning that they have to counteract energy used by increasing caloric consumption.
  • Most individuals do not have access to all of the powers and techniques.
  • Individuals with Super Speed often find themselves struggling to remain "in the moment".
