Isaac Joseph Meisner is a Human | Astral Hybrid, and Sorcerer Supreme of the universe known as "Earth-0" in the larger Multiverse. His official title is "Doctorus Praeceptorus Conceptus" ("Teacher of Concept"), which simplifies to "Doctor". He is the CEO and owner of Wiseman Faults, potentially the largest private equity firm in the world.

Summary

Isaac is the son of Jerome and Josephine Meisner - ancient beings created eons prior. Isaac's father, Jerome, is an Astral - the Astral of Hope. His mother Josephine is a Siren - a being almost as old and nearly as powerful. As the child of two incredibly powerful beings, never meant to interact with each other - Isaac's existence was seen as an affront to the Astrals, primarily their core hierarchy. In a bid to rally support towards his cause, a malevolent Astral - representing Subterfuge, plotted to usurp Jerome's core position as head of the Astrals. The malevolent Astral claimed that Josephine had manipulated Jerome into helping her gain a great power - as part of a plan to slowly weaken the Astrals across their cosmic hierarchy. The other Astrals, consumed by fear and paranoia over the ascendancy of a mortal woman - agreed; determining that both Josephine and her yet unborn child must perish.

Recognizing the danger and seeing the malevolent Astral's machinations beforehand, Jerome enlisted the aid of the Gods - primarily Thoth, in order to aid in securing his family's safety. Under the guidance of a powerful cosmic force, Thoth guided Jerome and Josephine to another dimension - which would end up being the Axiom. As the central Nexus of all Magic flowing throughout Earth-0, the Axiom had enlisted Thoth's aid - binding the God to its servitude for a specific task. It was later revealed to Jerome and Josephine that their unborn child had been chosen to be the Crystal's future protector - as Sorcerer Supreme. Initially unwilling to transfer guardianship of his child to the Gods, Jerome eventually relented - after being reminded by Josephine of the dangers that the Astrals posed.

On the day of his birth, Isaac was then left in the care of Thoth and a handful of other Knowledge based Gods, each conceptually bound to the Crystal for the task of raising Isaac to fulfill his function. From that day on, Isaac would be raised with Thoth as his surrogate father - until the day he would be ready to become Sorcerer Supreme. During this time, Thoth took on the identity of a wealthy businessman on Earth-0, creating and handling the management of Wiseman Faults - a large private equity firm and investment organization. Over time, Isaac would be instructed in both academic and mystical subjects, learning the mystics arts with a remarkable aptitude for absorbing information. By his early 20s, Isaac had gained a PhD in Mathematics and a business degree - allowing him to take over management of Wiseman Faults as Thoth's legal son.

Isaac is currently maintaining his role as Sorcerer Supreme of Earth-0, protecting the Crystal, and by extension the larger universe; from threats in all forms, tangible and abstract as well.

As the one and only Incarnation of the Concept IsoMatrix - Isaac has an innate control over axioms, the self-evident nature of ideas. This gives Isaac relative control over the perception of ideas, and their resulting effects. Isaac can use this power to gradually weaken or strengthen individuals based on his perception of them.

The ability of Observation is a weakened expression of this ability.

Magic

As the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth-0, Doctor has decades of extensive training in the mystic arts; knowing various forms of magic in the form of spells, hexes, incantations, jinxes and charms. His style of magical casting is very similar to that of Magister, in the sense that he is extremely methodical in nature.

  • He's generally seen to be lucky, but also pragmatic in the public consciousness.
• Isaac is likely the wealthiest of the main characters, due to the various industries that Thoth either created or heavily invested into for the past 20 years - and the inheritance of those funds that Isaac was given.
  • Wiseman Faults is generally involved in the industries of insurance, software development, utilities, food production, industrial production and resource production.
    • This is due to heavy investments in companies like Archeon Incorporated, U.P., Grayson Industries and more, in addition to further investments elsewhere.
• Isaac has fangs as a result of his Astral nature - though they can disguised with magic
• Isaac's favorite drink is red wine - specifically Pinot Noir.
  • He's also interested in Cognac, his favorite type of brandy.
• Isaac's favorite food is hamburgers, which surprises people given his general air of wealth.

  • The ring is encoded on a conceptual level with the thoughts and emotions that his parents have towards him.
    • This is a physical reminder of their parental affection for him, even after their disappearance.
• Isaac is still trying to learn the whereabouts of his parents - as well as why they left him at an early age.
• Isaac has an amicable relationship with Orion, Aiden and various other characters in the story, mainly through Orion's connections to them.
• Isaac generally spends most of his time either in the Axiom's library - or at Wiseman Faults back on Earth.
• Isaac has red eyes, either due to his decades of mana exposure in the Axiom, or due to his innate power as an Astral.
  • The origination of the red eyes is unknown, even to him.
• Isaac also has various personal businesses that he owns on Earth - which are managed by professionals hired by Thoth over the decades.
