Sying Zhi (born March 14, 1994), otherwise known as Lang-Zhi (or Wolf Spider), is an American Meta-Human and Para-Human superhero based out of New York City.

Summary

Born in Hong Kong in 1994, Sying's immediate family moved to New York City when she was very young, for reasons she was never informed of. Sying has no knowledge of her extended family, and considers New York to be her true hometown.

Sying works as a therapist for Dr Hartmann's office, due to unknown reasons, Ellia Yarimizu was transferred from Dr Hartmann's care to Sying's. During their first therapy session, Sying commented that Ellie was making good progress on recovering from her mental health issues.

Powers & Abilities

• Spider Physiology: Due to being bitten by a modified Brown Recluse spider when she was 16, Sying possesses a modified physiology granting her the proportional abilities of a spider. The powers granted by this include:
  • Superhuman Strength: Sying possesses superhuman strength with the ability to lift up to at least 10 tons under regular circumstances.
  • Superhuman Agility: Sying's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are all enhanced to levels that are far beyond the natural physical limits of a human athlete.
  • Superhuman Reflexes: Sying's reflexes are also enhanced, being about forty times greater than those of an ordinary human, when combined with her ehanced senses, Sying is able to use these reflexes to avoid a wide variety of

      • Seismic Sense: Due to her sense of touch being enhanced, Sying is able to sense and perceive variations in a surface if she touches it, allowing her to perceive these as precisely as normal sight, as well as gain an image of the structure and material of a solid substance should she focus hard enough.

  • Extrasensory Perception: Similar to some species of spiders, Sying possesses electroreception, allowing her to perceive electric fields and changes within them to a precise level, even if these fields have very low currents.
• Eye Color Manipulation: Sying's Meta-Gene expression is the ability to modify the colour of her eyes at will, including both natural and unnatural eye colours

Weaknesses

• Blindness: Due to unique neurotoxins in the spider that bit her's venom, Sying was rendered permanently blind by the incident. She is somewhat able to overcome this limitation through her other senses, but is still limited in cases where sight is entirely required, such as cases where colour needs to be discerned.
