Psionics are a seemingly supernatural force governed by the Sentience IsoMatrix. As one of the fundamental forces of existence, they play a role in maintaining the stability of reality itself.
Often viewed as a more scientific counterpart to Magic, psionics are more accurately described as occupying the space between science and the supernatural. While the effects of psionic abilities on the brain can be studied and measured objectively, the true nature of psionics remains poorly understood.
