Magic is a supernatural force and concept, created and governed by the Magic IsoMatrix. As one of the fundamental forces of the Multiverse, Magic assists in the collective stabilization of existence, making it capable of distorting and manipulating it to various degrees. However, because of its unique attributes, Magic is also capable of outright ignoring the rules of reality in favor of it's own, bound only to the limitations imposed upon it by the IsoMatrices themselves.

The exact rules and capabilities of Magic vary from location to location, dependent upon the thoughts and beliefs of both individuals and groups, with the group consensus tending to outweigh that of individuals. Because of this, Magic has no universal set of rules, making it's use almost endlessly varied. This often results in confusion when practitioners from wildly different sects interact with each other.
