The Hyde Family is a nearly extinct family of English Mages. Originally, the family was established by Anglo-Saxons living in what was at the time known as the Kingdom of The East Angles.

Summary

Founded by worshippers of the entity on the other side of the Rift of Merddynn, the Hydes would, ironically, become close with the Prydwens. At several points the two families have had their share of marriages with each other, with all modern Prydwens and all modern Hydes being very distantly related.

At some point the Hyde family began to shrink, slowly losing numbers until only Alfred Hyde and his children remained. Unfortunately, during one of his routine maintenance sessions of the family estate's defensive wards a pair of unknown Meta-Humans came into a clash, destroying the Hyde family home as collateral. Unable to react quickly enough, Alfred and his wife were killed and the estate destroyed. Thanks to their mother, as well as Allison herself the children managed to survive. From that day forward the children were on their own, with Aaron becoming the de facto head of the family as the sole male and eldest child.

Allison was amongst the magicians at the conclave held by the Prydwen family, and watched the fight between Stephanie and Ceridwen.
