The Hoyokazi Clan was founded by a man named [[Hoyokazi]] in the Yamato Period.

[[Hiyuki Hoyokazi (Earth-0)|Hiyuki Hoyokazi]] is the current leader of the Hoyokazi Clan, having succeeded [[Katsumi Hoyokazi (Earth-0)|her mother]] after she was expelled <ref name="MR">Mean Reversion</ref>. Despite her position, Hiyuki does not have absolute control over her family, and instead has to handle various factions within the extended family, all of which seek to achieve their own goals<ref>Proximal Exposure</ref><ref name="Rev">Revelation</ref>.
