== History ==
After the invention of the Spinning Jenny in 1764, technology on Earth-1764 began to advance at a staggering pace, with the newly discovered power of steam being used to make great strides. This advancement came at a cost, however, a human cost, as the newfound prosperity from this revolution led to great inequality between the upper and lower classes, leading to a class strife that was considered sure to explode into all-out war.

[[Chloe Humphries (Telepath)|For unknown reasons]], [[Chloe Humphries (Earth-1764)|The Clockwork Princess of Kirmoor]], one of the lower class's greatest advocates among the nobility, became colder and colder just prior to the destruction of Earth-1764, moving from a stance of reform to all-out class warfare. It was by this woman's hand that the Aetheric Engine, the device that destroyed Earth-1764, was activated.
