== Summary ==
Born in [[Sanctuary City]] to [[Charles Ratti Jnr]] and [[Valentina Ratti]] in 1992, Constance was an only child for nine years of her life before her younger siblings were born in 2001. As the elder sibling by nearly a decade, Connie was expected to effectively act as a third parent for the quintuplets, leading to a strained relationship between her and her family<ref name="SCD">Sanctuary City Days</ref>. The main exception to this was [[Charles Ratti|her grandfather]], who she was close to until his death in 2016.

Connie and [[Derek Hampton|Derek]] went to the same high school, although they didn't interact much while there, primarily due to belonging to different social groups<ref name="SCD"></ref>. According to Derek, while they were in high school, Connie had a reputation of being a party girl<ref name="SCD"></ref>. Connie dated a large selection of boys while in high school, although most of her relationships fell apart when they interacted with her family.

As a teenager, Connie had dreams of becoming a fashion and cosmetics designer, although this dream fell apart due to her unable to attend college thanks to poor grades and more and more of her time being taken up looking after her siblings. Despite this, Connie looked into finding jobs for fashion companies, but found herself unable to make it past screening due to her [[Ratti Crime Family|family history]]<ref name="SCD"></ref>.

At some point, Connie got a position as a store assistant at [[The Sanctuary Store]] in Sanctuary City, where she was assigned to the fashion section<ref name="SCD"></ref>. Both to help with her commute, and as a minor act of rebellion against her parents, Connie spent much of her first paychecks on an old motorbike and getting a motorbike license.

Unstatisfied with her life, and seeing no way out of it, Connie settled into a routine of mundanity, spending as little time at home as she could, and taking on extra shifts where available. It was after one such extra shift that Connie reunited with Derek Hampton, inviting him out for a meal after his own shift at the [https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BrandX Meta-Gas & Convenience] gas station. It was during this meal that Connie encouraged Derek to try and re-attempt joining the MRD, offering her own help with the matter<ref name="SCD"></ref>.
