If something were to cause significant damage to a Mutanoid faster than it could adapt, it would die like any other organism.

Finally, the Mutanoids most unique weakness is perhaps their susceptibility to their own hosts. Having come out of its gang war with Ratti victorious, the Crimson Tide established itself as the largest criminal organization within [[Sanctuary City]], with a territory covering a large portion of the city, including claiming ownership over the entire network of [[The Hollows]] - although in practical terms, this grip is tenous at best, with many groups in the undercity acting independently of the organization.

In the years since its founding, the Crimson Tide has managed to avoid any major reprisal from law enforcement, both from the [[Sanctuary City P.D.|police]] and [[Meta-Human Response Division|MRD]], and has entrenched itself into many of the city's functions, preferring to reap the benefits of long term corruption and other low level activities over large, high-profile jobs.

'''The Fateweaver''' was a creature created as one of the servants of [[Aspect of Time|the Great Vampire]], it was responsible for ensuring that the timeline was properly maintained, and as such was known as the Weaver of Fates.

== Summary ==
The Fateweaver was apparently created by the Great Vampire to help with her role of maintaining the sanctity of time, its form was chosen as a spider as it metaphorically "weaves" the "tapestry" of the [[Time#Timeline|timeline]].

At some point, the Great Vampire disappeared, leaving the Fateweaver to its own devices. Deciding not to be defined by its role anymore, the being travelled to [[Elodia]]. Taking the form of '''Vereus''', it helped the humans located within the plane overthrow the [[God|Gods]] there, creating a regime to help serve its purposes.

Some time later, [[Avo|the goddess Avo]] travelled to Elodia, seeking to free the humans from Vereus's new dictatorship. Sensing her entrance, The Fateweaver allowed her to enter its spire and banished her from the plane, managing to damage her being in the process.

Avo then recruited [[Orion Thompson (Earth-5)|a]] [[Aiden Grayson (Earth-1)|trio of]] [[Hiyuki Hoyokazi (Earth-63)|magicians]] to face the creature. These magicians travelled to Elodia, finding the creature and facing it in a battle, where it demonstrated its power over [[Time]] and explained that it wished to break free of its duty. Failing to come to a compromise, the trio killed the creature, and [[Hiyuki Hoyokazi (Earth-63)|one of them]] temporarily stepped in to act as a replacement until a new Fateweaver could be found<ref>Threads of Fate</ref>.
